(Born: March 1, 1952 – Died: February 5, 2010)

Former member of [[artist:Parliament]]-[[artist:Funkadelic]]. Known as The Queen of Funk. Mallia was an original member of [[artist:Parlet]] with [[artist:Debbie Wright]] and [[artist:Jeanette Washington]]. She left the group at the halfway mark of recording Parlet's second album. Mallia was married to drummer [[artist:Nate Neblett]] of The [[artist:Nite-Liters]] and [[artist:New Birth]]. They had one child, Seth Neblett. She appeared in [[artist:Prince]]'s 1990 film with P-Funk leader- [[artist:George Clinton]] in "Graffiti Bridge."

Mallia has recorded and written with [[artist:Snoop Dogg]] while he was with Death Row in the 90's. She also worked with Death Row alum- [[artist:RBX]] and [[artist:Quaze]]. She was featured on a duet with [[artist:Lenny Kravitz]] for an unreleased remix disc of his song "Believe In Me." Mallia was also the person who connected [[artist:Dr. Dre]] with [[artist:Roger Troutman]] ([[artist:Zapp]]) in the 90's. That introduction brought forth the hit song "California Love" for [[artist:Tupac]].
