Recorded and toured with [[artist:Sly & The Family Stone]], [[artist:Parliament]]–[[artist:Funkadelic]], and was an original member of [[artist:Brides Of Funkenstein]] with [[artist:Dawn Silva]]1978–1979.

In 1978, with Dawn, released the successful [[master:19717]] album. The Bride's first single release on Atlantic Records, "Disco To Go", sold over five hundred thousand units, and was certified Gold.

She went on to work with the [[artist:Talking Heads]], [[artist:Namie Amuro]], [[artist:Ryuichi Sakamoto]], [[artist:Mick Jagger]], [[artist:Masayoshi Takanaka]], [[artist:Stevie Nicks]], [[artist:George Michael]], [[artist:Bette Midler]], [[artist:Don Henley]], [[artist:Brandon Flowers]], [[artist:Elton John]], and [[artist:Sheila E]].
