About Lighter Shade Of Brown
Hispanic/Latin-American rap group formed in Riverside, California by [[artist:372373]] and [[artist:188287]].
Relasing their first album in 1990, the band was signed to [[label:39357]] on the strength of their second album released in 1992. Disappointing sales of their third album, released in 1994 resulted in the band going on a three year hiatus. They returned in 1997 to release two albums and a greatest hits compilation via [[label:7242]].
