Along with her partner, [[artist:Michael Wells]], Lee Newman formed a number of different aliases, including [[artist:GTO]], [[artist:Tricky Disco]] and [[artist:Technohead]], amongst others. She died of cancer on 4th August 1995.

She also wrote a review column for DJ magazine and compiled the [[label:Technohead]] series of albums for [[label:React]].
