Larry Davis

Horn and string arranger, multi instrumentalist, songwriter and producer, originally from Philadelphia, based and active in Florida since the late 80s. Larry Davis started as a session musician (trumpet, bass, etc.) for funk and disco releases in the 70s and became horn and string arranger for [[artist:17959]] and a member of [[artist:3470]], [[artist:9461]] and [[artist:87620]] (studio backing band for several acts of [[label:102661]] - eg [[artist:33196]], [[artist:35289]]). He then wrote and arranged music for [[label:11910]] productions during the 80s. After relocating to Florida, he became in house producer / mixer and songwriter for [[label:27785]] projects, mainly in association with [[artist:359677]] and [[artist:104656]] under the collaborative monicker [[artist:DSK]] and assorted aliases. As such, he was active with the Miami Bass Music scene. Still a resident of Florida, he is playing music with a revived [[artist:87620]].
