Scottish drummer

Born on 14 February 1951 in Helensburgh, Scotland. He was a member of Salvation (along with brothers [[artist:Jim McGinlay]] and [[artist:Kevin McGinlay]] and [[artist:Midge Ure]]) which evolved into [[artist:Slik]], and then [[artist:Zones (2)]] and [[artist:Skids]]. In 1981 he replaced [[artist:Brian McGee]] in [[artist:Simple Minds]], leaving to form [[artist:Set The Tone]] in 1982 with bassist [[artist:Bobby Patterson]]. After their demise he joined [[artist:One O'Clock Gang]] in 1985. In the late '80s he left the U.K. for Canada with [[artist:Big George And The Business]]. When he came back he became a drumming teacher at [[label:Carlton Recording Studios]] in Glasgow.

Kenneth Hyslop died in September 2024.
