About Keith Richards
English rock and blues guitarist and songwriter (born 18 December 1943, Dartford, Kent, England), best known as a founder member and guitarist of [[artist:The Rolling Stones]].
After the Rolling Stones signed to [[label:Decca]] Records in 1963, their band manager, [[artist:Andrew Loog Oldham]], dropped the 's' from Richards' surname, believing that "Keith Richard", in his words, "*looked more pop*". During the late 1970s, Richards re-established the 's' in his surname. A number of instances of this spelling are also the result of mis-types.
In a long-term relationship (1967-1979) with [[artist:Anita Pallenberg]], mother of his first three children, [[artist:Marlon Richards]] (b. 10.08.1969), Dandelion Angela Richards (b. 17.04.1972), & Tara Jo Jo Gunne Richards (b. 26.03.1976).
