About Kee Mo

KeeMo was founded in 1992 at the Krefelder Königsburg, providing livemusic for laser shows before releasing its first vinyl on [[label:3675]] in cooperation with [[artist:5375]]. A later move to Fuel/East West Records resulted in a series of releases, inspiring remixes by names such as [[artist:1014]] and [[artist:16709]]. From these beginning, KeeMo has evolved into a cross-disciplinary creative network revolving around the core of Alex Breuer and [[artist:498279]]. The pair met for the first time at [[label:266189]] in Cologne at the beginning of 2001.

Manfred, multi-instrumentalist and song writer and Alex, who was working with [[artist:16112]] on his recent album, produced their first remix as KeeMo for "The Joker" on [[label:796]]. KeeMo has the goal to create new possibilities by combining state-of-the-art sound, motion and visual technology in each of their new releases. Their first single,[m=200067], is very much a case in point. Sony permitted the use of the footage from their game "Wipeout Fusion", which was combined with a stylish music video by the renowned artist [[artist:504528]].

Leading German music technologists Emagic provided a version of their famous Logic software for inclusion on each CD, so everyone got the chance to make their own remix. Finally the design and artwork by the multimedia innovators [[artist:7358997]] united the whole into an outstanding multimedia package.

Currently, KeeMo is working on new tracks for his new album so there's plenty of reason to be excited about the shape of things to come...
