The diva began her musical career in the early 1980s. Before joining forces with [[artist:Cajmere]], she was making R&B and singing in Soul bands all over Chicago. The early 1990's found Dajaé as the Queen of [[label:Cajual Records]] working in a partnership with Curtis Jones (aka Cajmere / Green Velvet) and turning out a number of huge club anthems together.
