German keyboardist and singer born September 16, 1948 in Oberhausen/Germany.

Dollase studied art at the University of Düsseldorf, in a branch located in the city of Viersen. There he founded his band, first called "Blitzkrieg" in 1971. Dollase was keyboarder, vocalist and songwriter of the band. The same year, the band moved to Mönchengladbach. He met [[artist:3026415]], who was part of the local "red light area". In the following months, Gielen became manager of the band and organized recording sessions in late 1971.

The band was renamed to [[artist:180944]] in 1972 and they started to produce albums the following years. Dollase was responsible for almost all songwriting of the band. The first bigger changes in the band took place in 1975, when Dollase exchanged almost the complete line-up and changed the music style of Artrock towards more mainstream oriented Rock. The same happened again in 1978.

Finally, Dollase cancelled Wallenstein in 1982.

In the early 1980's, he was lecturer at the pedagogic school in Aachen and also had some art experiences. But he gained interest in haute cuisine. He begn to write about cooking and became restaurant critic in the 1980's. He made this professionally with appearances in TV and with publicating books and essays about this topic.
