Julia Niblock (Chryss) was a founding member of Attrition with [[artist:Martin Bowes]]. Her brother, [[artist:Ashley Niblock]], joined the band in time to record their debut album. In 1985, Julia left Attrition for the first time and later joined [The Legendary Pink Dots](http://www.discogs.com/artist/Legendary+Pink+Dots,+The) for the "Asylum" album as Poison Barbarella. She has rejoined Attrition a number of times over the years. Julia is married to John Waller.
