John Herndon

Musician and producer originally from Asheville (NC, USA), since 1985 living in Chicago (IL, USA) where he played with [[artist:Precious Wax Drippings]]. From 1991 till 1993 he played drums in [[artist:Poster Children]]. He is best known as the drummer of [[artist:Tortoise]] which he founded together with [[artist:Douglas McCombs]] in 1990, when the band still was called Mosquito. Other bands in which he is/was active are [[artist:Five Style]], [[artist:The For Carnation]], [[artist:Uptighty]], [[artist:Isotope 217]] and solo projects [[artist:A Grape Dope]] and [[artist:U-Sheen]].
