Swedish music producer, bassist, and keyboardist based in Stockholm, born on April 16, 1960 in Täby församling, Täby, Uppland.

He began a collaboration with Mauro Scocco in 1982 and from 1983 became a member of [[artist:51226]], which from then on was a duo consisting of Scocco and Ekelund. As the group Ratata, they played together until 1989, but even then have often collaborated in various ways, including around the record company [[label:8264]] / [[label:293702]]. Ekelund has also been a frequently engaged producer.
