Jimmy The Hoover was an early 1980s group based in London, England. Members included: Derek Dunbar (vocals), Simon Barker (keyboards, vocals), Carla Duplantier aka Maddog (drums), Flinto Chandia (bass) and Mark Rutherford (guitar). They were managed by [[artist:Malcolm McLaren]]. They were a 'One hit wonder' after being dropped by their label, when the follow up single failed to achieve the same success as 'Tantalise'.
