Musician in Houston, Texas. Craine joined punk band AK-47 on bass in 1979, using the name James Allstar on the group’s single. He left AK-47 in 1981 after the threat of a lawsuit from the Houston police. Craine also became a member of experimental industrial art-punk band Culturcide.

After working outside music for many years, he has joined The Popeboy Collective, contributing bass and synths and programming.
