About Jeroen Flamman
Dutch Techno and House producer from Amsterdam region. He is considered as one of the leading figures of early Techno scene in the Netherlands and pioneer of Happy Hardcore together with [[artist:128575]] as producer duo [[artist:6180]].
Flamman was living in New York in the late 1980's and met [[artist:128575]] there, who became his roommate. Active in the New York City club scene, Flamman recognized the lack of House music in the Netherlands. He convinced Jeff to move with him to Amsterdam. There, they started their club career as Planet E, first as parties in their living room, later at a discotheque in Amsterdam, which they soon started to run. They also started to record tracks in 1989 as [[artist:6212]] on their own founded label [[label:6989]]. Until 1994 they produce under that name. In 1994, they go on a hiatus and Flamman stays alone in Amsterdam.
Eventually, they return in 1995 as Flamman & Abraxas to the Gabber and Happy Hardcore scene. They also found the duo [[artist:6125]], which becomes the flagship of Dutch Happy Hardcore. In 1999, the project goes on hiatus and is reactivated in 2002. In 2006, Flamman together with Abraxas also take part in the Jumpstyle movement.
