ilkae is a catch-all term for a variety of music written by either [[artist:Aaron Munson]] (Canada) or [[artist:Krystian Lubiszewski]] (Poland) (or both!) since 1999. Munson has been the sole active member of the group since 2004. Following the closure of Merck records in 2007, Munson's work has largely been published by [[label:Eerik Inpuj Sound]]. Continuing to release as ilkae, Munson has made physical media releases on [[label:The Irrational Media Society]], [[label:Field Hymns]] and [[label:Onibaba records]].
