Hugues Dufourt (September 28, 1943, Lyon, France) is a French composer and philosopher.

Studies at Conservatoire de Genève, piano with Louis Hiltbrand (1961-68) then composition and electroacoustic music (1965-70) with Jacques Guyonnet.

Philosophy teacher at Université de Lyon (1967-73).

Scholar and founding member of [[artist:869054]] (1973) and [[artist:2135874]] (1977), then musicologist at École des hautes études en sciences sociales (1989-99).
