Horace Andy (born Horace Keith Hinds, February 19, 1951, Kingston, Jamaica), is a roots reggae songwriter and singer, best known for his distinctive vocals. After having recorded for many Jamaican producers and labels through the 1970's and 1980's ([[label:Studio One]], [[artist:Bunny lee]], [[artist:Phil Pratt]], [[artist:Derrick Harriott]], [[artist:Keith Hudson]], [[artist:142107]], [[artist:Tapper Zukie]], [[artist:343837]], [[artist:300922]], ...), he became known by the mainstream public with his collaborations with Bristol's trip hop band [[artist:Massive Attack]].
Cousin of [[artist:Justin Hinds]], he was renamed by [[artist:194190]], a reference to [[artist:Bob Andy]]. His second wife was [[artist:Caroline Williams (2)]]. They split up soon after the release of [m=32618].
