About Günther Kretschmer
Composer and arranger, born 1928 in Dresden, died October 2016 ibid.
He wrote songs for various Pop-Singers in the GDR (like [[artist:Frank Schöbel]] or [[artist:Christian Schafrik]]) and he also conducted the [[artist:Rundfunk-Tanzorchester Berlin]] in several Big Band/Swing recordings. His most impressive work is the Big Band-LP [r=257065] (AMIGA, 8 55 213, 1970), played by the [[artist:Rundfunk-Tanzorchester Berlin]].
