About Groove Corporation
The Groove Corporation (currently G. Corp) started as [[artist:Electribe 101]]. The name "Groove Corporation" was first used as a production moniker on Electribe 101 records and on remixes done for other artists. After Electribe 101 dissolved, the boys in the group continued as "Groove Corporation" (while [[artist:Billie Ray Martin]] went solo) and formed (with [[artist:Rockers Hi-Fi]]) their own label, [[label:The Cake Label]]. Debut album "Co-operation" was produced for [Six6](http://www.discogs.com/label/2105-6-x-6-Records)/[[label:Network Records]] - which was bought out by Sony just prior to the release of the album. Without much support from the new major host, the album, although being brilliant, sank almost without a trace. The group continued as G. Corp and recorded the follow-up album "New Roots" but it wasn't released until 2013 (as "[r=5410583]"). In the meantime a series of dub albums were released. Currently G. Corp is a duo. Nordhoff and Cimarosti are also part of [[artist:Overproof Sound System]] and produce the group as G. Corp.
