Gini Ball

British violinist, singer and composer, born Virginia Hewes. Sibling of [[artist:Martin McCarrick]]. Was married to [[artist:Dave Ball]]. Graduated from the Royal College of Music, and formed punk classical group Humoresque with [[artist:Anne Stephenson]], and later [[artist:Brilliant Strings]] with Stephenson and [[artist:Sally Herbert]]. She has worked with Siouxsie and the Banshees, Marc Almond, Soft Cell, Psychic TV, Mike Hedges, Bernard Butler and The Manic Street Preachers.
