She was a co-founder of the band [[artist:10346]] with her former partner [[artist:10354]]. Also partner of [[artist:337062]] between 1977 and 1992, with whom she'd moved to Australia in 1982. Mother of [[artist:Tasmin Smyth]], [[artist:Taliesin Allen]] and [[artist:299554]]. She invented an echoing vocal style named Space Whisper.
