DJ, record producer and musician.

In the late 1980s he began experimenting with tape editing and drum machines forming the **Scratchbeat Masters** ([[artist:1330830]]) before teaming up with [[artist:240327]], a collaboration between a number of crews, **Graham Massey** and **Martin Price** with whom he then formed the [[artist:318]].

In 1987 he launched his alias, [[artist:656]].

In 1991 he started his own label [[label:2888]] Records.

In 1998 the label closed and he relocating to New York. In early 2002 he returned to London and then moved to Berlin.
