Co-founded east London pirate station Rinse FM with [[artist:Dean Fullman]] aka [[artist:DJ Slimzee]] in 1994.

A grime producer in the early 2000s, Geeneus became more involved in production and [[label:Rinse]] the label when [[artist:Sarah Lockhart]] was appointed station manager in 2004.

The nickname "Geeneus" is from his interest in technology and his ability to keep the station on air in its early days.
