Fred Maher

Fred Maher is a staff producer at [[label:Elektra]] Records and drummer Fred was a member of Material until the release of *Memory Serves*, after which he quit. From 1984-1988 Fred was the drummer of Scritti Politti. After leaving Scritti Politti he began producing and still performs as a studio musician. Played drums with artists such Lou Reed, Richard Hell, Robert Quine, Lloyd Cole or Matthew Sweet among others.
