Erick Morillo

Born: March 26, 1971 in New York, NY. Died: September 1, 2020 in South Beach, FL. Colombian-American DJ and house music producer. Erick was raised in his pre-teen years in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia and returned at the age of 11 to the USA in Union City, New Jersey where he began DJing at weddings for friends and family. From 1992 to 1997, he was part of the successful dance project [[artist:7611]] together with [[artist:302431]] aka [[artist:76531]]. Founded [[label:Subliminal]] Records in 1997 with [[artist:Harry "Choo Choo" Romero]] and [[artist:Jose Nuñez]].
