Musician, songwriter, engineer, producer & record label owner, born in 1954.

Best known for his Disco Funk group [[artist:Gary's Gang]], which he created with [[artist:Gary R. Turnier]] in the late '70s. They enjoyed chart success from 1978 to the mid '80s. Around 1982 he formed and operated the independent New York-based Boogie/Garage label [[label:Radar Records (2)]], most notable for heavy club hitters like Toney Lee's "Reach up", Status IV's "You Ain't really Down", Key-Matic's "Breakin in Space", and many others.

During [[label:Radar Records (2)]] short-lived years, Matthew released also tracks for labels such as [[label:Profile Records]], [[label:Prelude Records]] and for artists such as Jekyll & Hyde, The Disco Four, [[artist:Sharon Redd]], [[artist:Barbara Fowler]] among others.

Matthew sold the [[label:Radar Records (2)]] catalog to Canada's [[label:Unidisc]] in the early 90's, and they retain ownership to the present day.

In 2019, James Reeno (Spazzoid Records/NYC Records) did a 90 min interview with Matthew which covered everything from the early days with Gary's Gang, up until [[label:Radar Records (2)]], [[label:Prelude Records]] and beyond.
