Commonly styled as EMINƎM and his alter ego Slim Shady.

He began his professional music career as a member of [[artist:Soul Intent (2)]] along with [[artist:Proof (3)]] in 1992.

He also started his first record label with his group that same year called [[label:Mashin' Duck Records]], later went on to join [[artist:D12]] and own the label Shady Records.
