In the late 1990's, she was co-founder and singer of the Hamburg-based band [[artist:39030]]. In the following time, she had a couple of other music projects in Hamburg. Eventually, she settled to Japan and studied Japanology. While she occasionally continued her work with Stella, she went to Zurich, Switzerland and additionally studied philosophy there. She is author and editor-in-chief of the political magazine "Café Américain".
