Doves

Alternative rock band from Manchester, England, which started out as the dance band [[artist:26531]]. The band comprises twin brothers [[artist:Jez Williams]] (guitar, vocals) and [[artist:Andy Williams (4)]] (drums, vocals), and [[artist:Jimi Goodwin]] (bass, vocals, guitar). Years active: 1998 – 2010 (hiatus), 2018 – present During the band's hiatus, Jimi Goodwin released a solo album, while the Williams brothers regrouped as [[artist:Black Rivers]]. They began life as a Haçienda inspired dance band until their studio burned down and they lost all of their equipment, and then reformed as Doves.
