Double Exposure

Soul disco vocal quartet, formed in 1968, Philadelphia. First called [[artist:The United Image]] and recorded for [[label:Stax]]. Their first release for the fledgling [[label:Salsoul Records]] was also the first commercial 12" single ever released. Their introduction to Salsoul Records was via their friendship with producer [[artist:Norman Harris]], whom they had known since 1961. Harris produced all three albums. The original four Double Exposure members reunited in 2010 and began performing shows again. In 2012 the group recorded a new single, "Lady."
