She began her career touring with [[artist:273817]], then worked on numerous projects with other background singers such as [[artist:211613]], [[artist:10582]] and [[artist:201472]]. She was chosen by [[artist:Kenny Lehman]] to work on the the first [[artist:9081]] album released in 1977. She also did lead and background vocals for [[artist:96569]]' [[artist:Change]] project. This brought her to the attention of Columbia executives which lead to the [[artist:Diva Gray & Oyster]] album, [r=20212822].
