About David Joseph
British keyboardist - singer - songwriter - producer
Brother to [[artist:Ken Joseph]] - both members of the North London brit funk group [[artist:Hi-Tension]]. He released one solo album in 1983, produced by [[artist:Godwin Logie]] with contributions in songs and instruments by members of [[artist:Hi-Tension]]. There were four singles released out of the album, with the most successful being the [[artist:Larry Levan]] favorite ["You Can't Hide (Your Love From Me)"](http://www.discogs.com/David-Joseph-You-Cant-Hide-Your-Love-From-Me/release/948756). In 1986 he collaborated with [[artist:Chris Paul]] for an updated cover of the 1975 [[artist:Lonnie Liston Smith]] classic ["Expansions"](http://www.discogs.com/Chris-Paul-Featuring-The-Voice-Of-David-Joseph-Expansions-86-Expand-Your-Mind/release/1517160). He released two more singles in [[label:4th & Broadway]] (1987 - 1988). He is credited as well for backing vocals in 1982's ["Mr. Solitaire"](http://www.discogs.com/Animal-Nightlife-Love-Is-Just-The-Great-Pretender/release/423345) of [[artist:Animal Nightlife]] and in 2011 track "Traditional" out of [[artist:Cameron Pierre]]'s ["Radio Jumbo"](http://www.discogs.com/Cameron-Pierre-Radio-Jumbo/release/6681909).
