Dave Ball

English producer and electronic musician, famous for being the half of [[artist:Soft Cell]] and in the '90s of [[artist:The Grid]]. He was born on 3 May 1959 in Blackpool, Lancashire, England, UK. Died on 22 October 2025. He was married to [[artist:Gini Ball]] (Virginia Hewes). In 2020 he published his memoir Electronic Boy detailing why he once described himself as "the Backcover Man".
