**Dan Kurzius** (b. 1 December 1971, Albuquerque, New Mexico), also known as "**dK**," is an American tech entrepreneur, best known as the co-founder of an email marketing automation platform, ***[[label:Mailchimp]]***. Before venturing into the Silicon Valley industry, Kurzius was active as an electronic musician, DJ, and producer. In 1996, he co-founded a now-defunct techno label, [[label:Hard Sync Recordings]], with [[artist:Gerard Hanson]] a.k.a. [[artist:Convextion]]. The following year, Dan launched a deep/tech-house label [[label:Late Night Essentials]].
