Crossfire started producing music at age of 17. After a couple of years, of complete focus, he finally got some recognition from infamous [[artist:DJ Trace]] ([[label:DSCI4]]). [[artist:DJ Trace]] signed his track "Hydra" (on [r=52393]) for his label, [[label:DSCI4]]. The track "Hydra" crawled into the playlists of [[artist:Ed Rush & Optical]], [[artist:D. Kay]], [[artist:Black Sun Empire]], [[artist:Paul B]] and many others. Quickly a release on [[artist:Ryme Tyme]]'s [[label:1210]] label followed with the tunes "Hideout" and "Swordfight" ([r=76357]). Soon thereafter [[artist:DJ Trace]] decided to give [[artist:Crossfire]] his own 12" on [[label:DSCI4]], "Counterforce" and "Firebolt" ([r=125946]). The tune "Counterforce" also got played out a lot by the ones like: [[artist:DJ Bailey]], [[artist:Loxy]], [[artist:DJ Ink]], [[artist:Klute]], [[artist:Paul B]] etc. Bookings came in and the name [[artist:Crossfire]] started to ring a bell in the mind of a lot of drum&bass lovers.
