Trance DJ & producer from Krefeld (born 1972), Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany. Best known for being one of the two members of German Trance duo [[artist:Cosmic Gate]].

Terhoeven has also been involved in several other trance projects, as producer, co-producer, and remixer. These projects include; [[artist:Sash!]], [[artist:Taucher]], [[artist:Talla 2XLC]], [[artist:U96]], [[artist:DJ Shog]] and [[artist:Green Court]].

Besides producing and DJing as Cosmic Gate side by side with Stefan Bossems, he also releases music under his stage name Nic Chagall.

Co-founder of the Essential Cuts Studio in Duisburg, Germany in 1999, now better known as [[label:E-CUTZ]], where he also works with [[artist:Erich Schmeier]] (aka DJ Errik) and [[artist:Andre Wevers]] (aka DJ Wave) who also appears on Cosmic Gate albums.

In 2018 he was together with [[artist:Olaf Dieckmann]] (aka Wippenberg) nominated for Grammy Award for his remix Gabriel & Dresden feat. Sub Teal - The Only Road (Cosmic Gate Remix). It was the 61th Grammy Awards, category 71. Best Remixed Recording
