Chez Damier aka [[artist:Anthony Pearson]] (born August 15, 1969 in Chicago, Illinois, USA) is an American DJ and producer known for his influential role in the development of deep house music. He co-founded the seminal label [[label:Prescription]] Records in 1993 with [[artist:Ron Trent]]. Prior to that, he was the A&R man and studio manager at [[label:KMS]] Records (1989–1992), working closely with [[artist:Kevin Saunderson]]. In the mid-1990s, he also held an A&R position at the French electronic music label [[label:Distance]]. Damier has released numerous 12" records that have become staples of classic house music and is recognized for his contributions to the Detroit and Chicago house scenes.
