English pianist, arranger, composer, music director, conductor, and producer, born 20 May 1940 – died August 2024.

He began his career as an arranger with record producer [[artist:226551]] at the age of 19, and became one of the most prolific studio arrangers of the 1960s and 1970s, with a string of hit records to his credit, including "Johnny Remember Me" by [[artist:325094]], and "I'll Never Fall in Love Again" by [[artist:51039]]. He worked with [[artist:Burt Bacharach]] on the film scores of *What's New Pussycat?* (1965) and *After The Fox* (1966). As a conductor he was involved with the San Remo Festival, as well as the Eurovision Song Contest.
