About Carole Rieussec

Carole Rieussec (born in Madagascar) is a French composer currently living in Frontignan (Hérault, France).

Rieussec learned electroacoustic composition at "Conservatoire national de région de Lyon" under [[artist:Denis Dufour]], before attending composition courses at [[label:IRCAM]] with [[artist:Philippe Manoury]], Jeannine Richer, and Horia Ratiu.

In 1988, she met Luc Ferrari and began working at [[label:La Muse en Circuit]]. Rieussec founded Kristoff K.Roll with Jean-Christophe Camps in 1990.

Since 1990, she has collaborated with choregraphers and film directors to compose stage or screen music. Rieussec also founded "Sonorités : le festival du texte au son" in Montpellier with [[artist:Anne-James Chaton]] in 2000.
