About C-Tec

An electro-industrial supergroup originally formed as a side project in 1995 by [[artist:Jean-Luc De Meyer]] ([[artist:Front 242]], [[artist:Cobalt 60]], etc.), [[artist:Jonathan Sharp]] ([[artist:New Mind]], [[artist:Bio-Tek]], etc.) and [[artist:Ged Denton]] ([[artist:Crisis NTI]]) as [[artist:Cyber-Tec Project]]. The name was taken from [[label:Cyber-Tec Records]], who released their first album. After first album release, [[artist:Jonathan Sharp]] left the band (due to problems with [[label:Cyber-Tec Records]] manager [[artist:Paul M Green]]) and [[artist:Marc Heal]] ([[artist:Cubanate]]) joined as a full-time member. They shortened the name to [[artist:C-Tec]] and signed to [[label:Wax Trax! Records]] in the U.S.
