Bryan Mantia (aka [[artist:Brain (26)]]) is an American drummer, composer and producer born February 4, 1963.

Bryan has collaborated with bands including [[artist:Primus]], [[artist:Guns N' Roses]] (2000-2006), [[artist:Praxis]], and Godflesh, as well as solo artists like Tom Waits, [[artist:Serj Tankian]], [[artist:Bill Laswell]], [[artist:Bootsy Collins]], and guitarist [[artist:Buckethead]]. He has also performed session work for a number of artists and bands.

Forms the composing/producing duo "Brain and Melissa" in collaboration with her creative/business partner & keyboardist [[artist:Melissa Reese]] (Guns N' Roses). The pair also worked with avant-garde guitarist Buckethead on a series of multi-CD sets albums called "Kind Regards" and "Best Regards".

He is part of the American experimental/alternative rock project [[artist:Mars Mechanics]] along with his friends/collaborators bassist [[artist:Steve Freeman (3)]] aka [[artist:Extrakd]] ([[artist:El Stew]] with guitarist [[artist:Buckethead]]) and guitarist Mark [[artist:Mirv Haggard]] ([[artist:M.I.R.V.]], [[artist:Les Claypool And The Holy Mackerel]]).
