In 2000 Karl Fultz and three female vocalists, under the guise Black Electric, had their only release on [[label:Puzzlebox Records]]. Inspired by British synth-pop duo Eurythmics, Fultz says Black Electric was a way to get more women involved in the techno movement.

Another member and vocalist in the group was Kim Glover.
