**Bajofondo** is a South American band of musicians from Argentina and Uruguay. Originally called "**Bajofondo Tango Club**", they changed their name to simply "Bajofondo" as they felt their style had broadened beyond just Tango and should be considered "contemporary music from the Río de la Plata".
