Electronic/techno project from Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. Started in 1993 as a duo of [[artist:John Golden (2)]] and [[artist:Mike McClure]] under the name **Auto K**, later in 1993 changed to **Auto Kinetic**.

In 1998 [[artist:David Jarosz]] (member of [[artist:Mindphaseone]] trio together with John Golden and Mike McClure) joined the project, and Auto Kinetic became a trio, releasing "[r=1596669]" album in 1999 (updating name to **Autokinetic**).

The trio split about late 2004.

Since 2018 Mike McClure reactivated Autokinetic a his solo project.
