Was a founding member of El [[artist:Aviador Dro]] y Sus Obreros Especializados (going by the "Sincrotrón" alias), doing vocals from the group's foundation until 1980, when he, along with [[artist:Gabriel Riaza]] and [[artist:Juan Carlos Sastre]] left to create [[artist:6614]].

Lanz is the only permanent Esplendor Geométrico member. He creates the tracks and does vocals in their live shows.
