Anthony White

American soul, disco, house music, singer from Philadelphia, USA, (born, 13th Oct 1945 - died 23rd April 2015) In 1975 he was signed to [[label:Philadelphia International]]. He released one album spawning hits like the cover of [[artist:Barry Manilow]]'s classic, "Could It Be Magic". One of his highlights is 1977's one-off single at [[label:Salsoul Records]], "I Can't Turn You Loose". In the 1980's he teamed up with [[artist:Paul Simpson]] as a featured vocalist on his version of the tune 'Walk Away From Love' (a song first made popular by David Ruffin).
