Alex Binnie was born on July 11, 1959, in Oxford, England. He was a founding member of the trio Pure, alongside [[artist:Matthew Bower]]. Later on he joined up with John Gosling's [[artist:Zos Kia]]. However, by the late 1980's, his primarily artistic expression was not through music, but tattooing. He since become well known in those circles.
